Description
The village of Saillon has a lot of charm due to its medieval character (a festival is held in the village every 4 years). All that is missing is the "song of the cicadas".
In 2013, it was voted the most beautiful village in Switzerland by readers of the Illustré. The baths are renowned for their healing properties and visitors can enjoy a large spa complex that has existed in its current form since 2016.
There are also several attractions to discover, such as the vineyard of Farinet with its 3 vines, the counterfeit money museum, the Salentse gorges, etc.
The village is close to Martigny and Sion, less than 15 minutes by car. There are also regular bus links to these towns. Bus stops are nearby.
In the winter, the ski resorts of Ovronnaz and La Tzoumaz are very close.
