Project presentation

The transformation of the two barns-stables is intended to be coherent and respectful: removal of elements of no value, conservation of existing openings, addition of glazing in the wooden infill panels, enhancement of the interior shared wall with original planking. The historical substance of the 19th century is preserved – volume, exposed massive roof structure and masonry of assembled stones – and enriched by resolutely contemporary interior architecture and first-rate finishes.
Both apartments have their own independent entrance and private outdoor spaces. Directly connected to the village square and right on the Tour du Mont-Blanc trail, the building enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the historic town.
