Description

Le Levron is a hamlet well worth a visit. Not a showcase village, not a resort. A few chalets, a bell tower, a road that climbs from Le Châble and stops there. The people who live here aren't here by chance; they've chosen the peace and quiet, the unobstructed view of the Valais Alps, and the quality of air you don't really find below 1,300 meters.

The plot is located at the entrance to the village, well exposed, before the square where the post buses maneuver. An unobstructed position, easy to access, without being at the heart of the passage.

Only two chalets on the plot, linked by a carport that doubles as a terrace upstairs. A simple, fair architectural gesture. No residence with dozens of units, no cumbersome syndic to manage. An individual chalet, one plot, one address.

Building 1 develops 147 m² over two levels. One enters through a generous hall entirely clad in wood panelling, ceiling, walls, built-in storage and a custom-made bench. The tone is set right from the threshold: this is real wood, not decorative wood. The living/kitchen area then opens out into a single, light-filled, timber-framed plateau, with large wood-framed windows framing the mountain. The kitchen's matte-black fronts contrast with the warm hues of the wood - a contrast that works, without trying to make an impact. Two terraces complete the ensemble, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. In winter, the sun stays here for a long time. In summer, it's the place to dine.

Contemporary wood construction, exposed fir framework, spruce cladding, slate roof. Alpine architecture that doesn't seek to imitate the old chalet, but fits naturally into the Val de Bagnes landscape. New also means builder's warranty, energy performance, zero unpleasant surprises in the first few years.
