Chasa Plaz – Historic two-family house with barn and two parking spaces The historic Engadine house “Chasa Plaz” was built in 1750 and completely renovated and redesigned in the Art Nouveau style in the Belle Époque, in the years 1893 and 1912, by the couple Anna von Planta and Theodor Bonorand. The last extensive renovation work, however, was only carried out recently – around 2000 and 2010. As the name suggests, the house is located in a beautiful location right on the historic church square of Ardez. The quiet and picturesque village of Ardez is considered a model village of Romanesque settlement and living culture and its village landscape, which has remained largely unchanged since the 17th century, with its characteristic presence of the Steinfels castle ruins, is of unique beauty.
