Historical house from 1575 in Turtmann (SPRUNG House or Bregy House)
The patrician house in Turtmann, which has been renovated in keeping with its original style, was first built in 1575 (rear part of the house) and the present-day living quarters were built in 1700. The house was renovated in 1934 by Fritz Oggier-Sprung and in 1980/1995 by the brothers Alex and Charly Oggier. The present owners are the heirs of Charly Oggier, who all live outside the canton of Valais. For this reason, the heirs of Charly Oggier are selling this house, which is steeped in history. Style of the house: gabled three-story mixed building. Timber-framed construction surrounded by a mantle wall. The house is one of the houses in the canton of Valais that are protected by the canton. There are many such houses in Turtmann, some of which have been renovated in recent years by the foundation Altes Turtmann and by the owners themselves.
